January 6th is David Price Day In Marion County in remembrance of Sheriff’s Deputy David Price, who was tragically killed in a car wreck on January 6, 2021 in the line of duty. Price had served with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for three months and prior to that served with the Dillon Police Department for three years.
He left behind a wife, three children, and other family members and friends.
A proclamation will be signed in the City of Dillon on January 6th to remember David Price and his commitment to the communities he served. Please take a moment to remember David Price today as we reflect on his life and service to the area.
