Jamison McAllister has joined the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. McAllister is a 2021 graduate of Latta High School and recently graduated Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science.
McAllister said he has always had an admiration for law enforcement since he was a child. He said he has the “heart and will to serve and help others.”
McAllister, a nephew of Sheriff Douglas Pernell, said, “I have some big shoes to fill.”
