Jackson Outlar Signs With Newberry College To Play Football

Jackson Brentley Outlar took the next step in his career as he signed with the Newberry Wolves to further his education and play football at the next level.
The signing took place at the Dillon Christian School on Tuesday, February 5.
Dillon Christian School Headmaster Brent Hardy welcomed everyone and congratulated Jackson Brentley Outlar.
Mr. Hardy stated ” today, we proudly celebrate the outstanding achievements of Jackson Brentley Outlar, a senior at Dillon Christian School, as he officially signs with Newberry College to continue his academic and athletic journey this fall.”
Jackson is a true example of dedication and excellence both on and off the field. With an impressive 4.4976 GPA, he has challenged himself academically by taking dual credit courses at Northeastern Technical College to further his education.
Beyond football, Jackson has left his mark on Dillon Christian School’s athletic history. In January, he broke the school record for the most points scored during high school basketball, achieving an incredible 1,327 career points. He has also been a key player on the baseball team throughout his high school years, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to athletics.
As Team Captain, Jackson has led with integrity, hard work, and perseverance, setting a strong example for his teammates. His leadership extends beyond the field and court, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence in all they do.
We are incredibly proud of Jackson and cannot wait to see all that he will accomplish at Newberry College. Congratulations, Jackson! May God continue to bless your journey as you take this next step in academics and athletics. Go, Wolves!
