Susan Grainger Hayes, 65, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Latta Baptist Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00-7:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born in Mullins SC, December 17, 1958 she was the daughter of Molly Bullock Grainger and the late Fredrick Vernon Grainger. She was a retired schoolteacher.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny E. Hayes of Lake View; mother, Molly B. Grainger; children, Trey Carter (Lauren) of Taylorsville, NC, (Evelynn, Charlotte, & Georgia), Courtney Sarvis (Scott) of Fork, (Liston & Mollie), Jessie Marlowe (Justin) of Conway; (Lincoln & Levi,) Tony Hayes (Candy) of Lake View, (Hailey (Dylan), & Aiden), (Kaitlyn, Emma, & Cassie); brother, Stephen Grainger (Darlene) of Latta; sister, Lori Buffett of Latta; many loved nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Vernon Grainger.
