IN MEMORIAM: Mary Kathryn Miller Arnette

DILLON–Service for Mary Kathryn Miller Arnette will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Arnette, 75, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

Born in Dillon, S.C., December 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Lutie Madeline Watts Miller. She was retired from McLeod Medical Center as the Director of Security, and she attended the Dillon Church of God. She was the President of the Dillon County Safety Officer’s Association and was the Treasurer of the Dillon County Historical Society.

Survivors include her children, Charles Lynn Miller (Kim) and Robin “Robbie” Kendall Miller (Delores); grandchildren, Lindsey Miller McDaniel (Jason), Katie Miller McDowell (Trey), Ashley Miller, and Kendall Chase Miller (Haleigh); great-grandchildren, Kennedy Lane, Claire Lane, Charlee-Grace Miller, Hudson Miller, and Lawson Miller; siblings, Wayne Miller (Betty), Teresa Mishue (Holmes), Deborah Webster (Wayne), and Cindy Miller.

Mrs. Arnette was preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Lutie Madeline Watts Miller; husband, Gatley Arnette; siblings, Carlton Miller, Dewey Miller, and Michael Jesse Miller.
