HAMER – Grace Britt, 68, died Sunday, August 25, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence.
She was the daughter of late A.Z. Britt, Sr. and Iva Gladys Hayes Britt. Grace was surrounded with much love by her family when she went into the arms of Jesus. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Dillon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to graveside service. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family.
Grace was born in Dillon, South Carolina on April 15, 1956. She was of Baptist Faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and dining with her extended family of Southern Fried Restaurant for breakfast and lunch daily. She loved the ocean and also enjoyed salt and freshwater fishing. Her favorite snacks were bananas and Hershey chocolate bars.
She is survived by her sisters, Nell Britt Bracey (Jimmy) and Peggy Jo Britt, along with nieces and nephews: Valerie (Steven), James (Laura), Sarah, Cole, Ceason (Jonah), Carrie Grace (Avery), Renee, Brigitte, Kelly Jo, Kobe as well as two special friends Peggy and Catherine. She was preceeded in death by her brothers, A.Z. Britt, Jr. and Jerry Thomas Britt.
