Anne DeLette Kornahrens, 79, passed away November 24, 2025 at the MUSC Health Chester Nursing Center in Chester, SC. Memorial services will be held in graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery at a time and date to be announced. Reverend Mike Summerlin and Reverend Henry Altman will officiate. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon is assisting the family.
DeLette was born in Bennettsville, SC November 14, 1946, daughter of the late Kenneth Walton Kornahrens and Annie Eleanor McRae Kornahrens. She was a lifetime member of Main Street Methodist Church, always calling Dillon home. She was the Librarian for the Chester County High School until her retirement. She loved reading and one year challenged herself to read a book a day. She always had season tickets to the theatre and enjoyed movies and music as well.
DeLette is survived by her sisters, Eleanor K. Burns (James) of Raleigh, NC and Pierrene “Pi” K. Johnson of Chapin, SC. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Harry J. Johnson.
