Overview:
High pressure offshore will bring hot and humid conditions to the Carolinas.
Shower and thunderstorm coverage will increase as the week wears on especially late as a cold front approaches from the northwest.
Land Impacts: Heat Advisory (apparent temperatures of 105-109) in effect today. A Heat Advisory expected tomorrow, with some areas possibly needing an Excessive Heat Warning (apparent temperatures 110 and above). Yet another Heat Advisory expected Wednesday and possibly a fourth one on Thursday.
