The visiting 5-7 Hannah-Pamplico Lady Raiders handed the 3-2 Lake View Lady Wild Gators a 13-1 conference loss in varsity softball in the run-ruled 5-inning game played in Lake View on Friday, April 4.
The Raider’s Kadence Poston pitched 5 innings and allowed 4 hits, 1 unearned run, walked no one, and struck out 9 of the 21 batters she faced.
Hannah-Pamplico collected 12 hits in the game. Meredith Stone was perfect at the plate with a home run, a triple, 2 singles, 4 rbi, and scored 3 runs in her 4 at-bats. Kadence Poston had 3 hits and 3 rbi in 4 plate appearances. Chloe Cooper had a double, a single, a rbi, and scored 2 runs in her plate appearances. Savannah Owens had a hit, a rbi, was hit by a pitch, and scored 2 runs in her 4 plate appearances. London Lee had a single and scored a run in her 3 plate appearances. Payten Poston had a single, scored a run, and 2 walks in her 4 plate appearances. Allie Nettles, Jadan Lee, and Logan Owens each garnered a walk.
Lake View will host Green Sea Floyds on Thursday, April 10, at 6:00 p.m.
Hannah-Pamplico will travel to Johnsonville Monday, April 7, for a 6:00 p.m. game. On Tuesday, the Lady Raiders will travel to Latta for a 6:00 p.m. game.
