The Hamer Church of God Loaves & Fishes Ministry distributed and delivered food on Friday, July 26.
It takes several hours to prepare for this well-organized group to plan for an event such as this one. The volunteers are Hamer Church of God members, some from other churches, and some who seldom go to church. God has blessed with a variety of volunteers to benefit this.
Hamer Church of God sponsors this with the help of others. Rev. Kevin Byrd, pastor of Hamer Church of God, remarked “God shows us His favor.” “I am humbled by the way everyone works not only today (Friday) but while preparing for at least 4 hours yesterday (Thursday). Volunteers work for the Lord,” exclaimed Pastor Byrd.
Hamer Church of God and others provide fresh meats, produce including watermelons and cabbage, pasta, breads, desserts, and more.
Hamer Church of God is located at 2410 Hwy. 301 North, Hamer, S.C.
