The Hamer Church of God Loaves and Food Ministry distributed and delivered food on Friday, March 28.
It takes many volunteers and lots of preparation work to make this happen. Volunteers work tirelessly days and nights before the event takes place. The food, produce, and refrigerated items have to be bagged and ready to go early in the morning of the event. Today’s food giveaway began early.
Prior to beginning the food distribution, Hamer Church of God Pastor Kevin Byrd offered a prayer and thanked God for his bounty and for allowing everyone to help in this.
Vehicles began to line up early. As the vehicles entered the Hamer Church of God parking lot, two lines were formed. Volunteers began the task of distributing the food by loading the food into the vehicles.
This event is possible only by the grace of God and the bounty He provides with the donation of food and time by the tireless workers and donations from others.
