A group of players enjoy Pickleball on the inside courts at the City of Dillon Wellness Center almost daily.
Some of the groups arrive as early as 5:00 a.m. to begin the games while others arrive a little later. The sessions last from 5:00 a.m. until around 9:30 or maybe a little later.
The group consisted of Natalie Wallace, Dr. Robin Shealey, Rachel Mew, Ethel Lucius, Donnell Stanley, Major Stephens, Nick Mosher, and Glenn Parrish on this Monday morning, August 26. Of course, others were scheduled to arrive later in the day.
While these were enjoying Pickleball, others were utilizing the Wellness Center’s exercise facilities including weights, treadmills, etc. while others were enjoying walking inside or outside.
There is something for everyone at the City of Dillon Wellness Center located at 1647 Commerce Drive, Dillon, S.C.
Beginning as soon as next week, weather permitting, the City of Dillon will be paying for 2 of the 5 tennis courts at Dillon High School to be converted into 6 Pickleball courts. Of course, 3 tennis courts will remain for everyone’s enjoyment.
