GIRL SCOUT WEEK
On March 11, Girl Scout Troop 1204 of Latta had the opportunity to meet with elected officials, including the Mayor of Latta Teresa Mason. The Girl Scout Week Proclamation was signed and dated by a government official, which applauded the commitment of Girl Scouts. Mrs. Mason is also a lifetime Girl Scout member and has served on the Board for Girl Scouts in different capacities throughout the years. She shared in reciting the Girl Scout Promise as well as singing the Friendship song with the girls. The girls thank her for taking time out of her day to meet with them.
