Georgetown Hands Dillon A 53-48 Loss

The 13-8 Georgetown Bulldogs handed 8-8 Dillon a 53-48 loss in varsity basketball played on Saturday, February 1.
Georgetown pumped in 18 points in the first quarter while holding Dillon to 7 points.
In the second quarter of play, Dillon scored 17 points while holding Georgetown to 11 points. Georgetown was up 29-24 at halftime.
Dillon committed 7 fouls in the first half, and Georgetown committed 4 fouls in the first half.
In the third quarter of play, Dillon added 12 points to the scoreboard, and Georgetown added 10 points to the scoreboard. Georgetown was up by 3 points, 39-36 .
In the final quarter of play, the Bulldogs scored 14 points, and Dillon scored 12 points.

Dillon’s Zamaurious Robertson led the Wildcats with 22 points. He had four 3-point baskets, four 2-point baskets, and 2 free throws. S. Taylor placed 11 points onto the scoreboard with five 2-point baskets and a free throw. Jamarion Fling had three 2-point baskets for 6 points. Jazier Walker had a 2-point basket and 2 free throws for 4 points. Jamarquanion McCrimmon had a 2-point basket. Ejan Green sank 2 free throws. Markis Morrison sank a free throw.
