Grant Writing 101: Practical Information to Help You Write Successful Grants
This workshop is excellent for beginners, but experienced writers will also benefit from this strength-based approach that incorporates many real-life examples and resources.
Grant Writing Expert:
T.J. Wallace is the Assistant Director of South Carolina Humanities will be leading the session. A graduate of Furman University, T.J. completed a year of service with the AmeriCorps program City Year Columbia in 2005. She graduated from Francis Marion University’s Nonprofit Leadership Institute in 2009, the United Way of the Midlands’ Blueprint for Leadership in 2019, The Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative in 2023.
T.J. has volunteered extensively with the Midlands Reading Consortium; Palmetto Lifeline; Lake Carolina Elementary School, where she serves on the School Improvement Council; and Girl Scout Troop 1098. T.J. grew up in Orlando, FL and now lives in Columbia with her husband Joey, their three children, a golden retriever, three cats, and a leopard gecko. She never says no to a nap.
