The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jessica Altman Huggins, a former volunteer girls’ basketball and volleyball coach at the Mullins-Marion Christian School.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division has charged Jessica Huggins, 36 years old of Mullins, with three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, 2nd degree, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 1st degree, Criminal Solicitation of a Minor, and Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Person Under 18 years of age.
It is alleged that between October 2024 and February 2025, Huggins engaged in the sexual battery of a 14-year-old victim on three separate occasions. It is further alleged that Huggins communicated with the minor victim with the intent to persuade the minor victim to participate in sexual activity as well as coerced the minor victim to create sexually explicit images. Huggins also allegedly sent sexually explicit images to the minor victim.
Huggins is currently being held at the Marion County Detention Center without bond.
