On May 22nd, the Empowerment in Action Association held its first outdoor meeting of 2025 at Dillon Manor Apartments. Nearly one hundred persons attended as a message of peace and hope was brought. Prayers were offered by Mayer Tally McColl, Pastors Joseph graham, Pastor James Orr, and Pastor Tommy Lee Pittman. The Marhill Bibleway Church praise team lead music. Pastor Ricky Gilchrist of Fresh Beginnings church preached a strong message calling for peace and to turn away from violence. Dothan Baptist Church provided 300 free chicken bog dinners. The ministers and others distributed them to those in attendance and carried them around to various apartments. The next event will be Monday, June 23rd in the Newtown area.F
