The first “Called to Serve” Community Breakfast today was a huge success, providing a hearty meal for everyone who stopped by. The menu featured all the favorites: grits, pancakes, home fries, bacon a variety of sausages, along with cereal and fresh fruit. The goal was to ensure that everyone who came through the door was fed, and that goal was definitely met. Every person who joined us left with a smile and a satisfied belly.
In addition to serving a free meal, these resources were available to assist the community.
*Boys to Men / Girls with Purpose
*Clements Insurance/Affordable Insurance Solution
*Girl Scouts
*Gen Mobile Government Cellphone Service Representative
*Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Assault
*The Pregnancy Center of Dillon County
“Called to Serve” is excited to offer more free hot meals to the community in 2025, so be sure to stay tuned for upcoming dates on Facebook!
