A fatal wreck occurred on I-95 at the 191 mile marker, one mile west of the City of Dillon, on August 2nd at approximately 10:36 a.m., according to Master Trooper William Bennett of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Only one unit was involved in the wreck, a Toyota Sedan. Three persons were in the vehicle. The driver died at the scene. The two passengers were taken to the hospital.
The car was headed north on I-95, ran off to the right, struck a culvert, and then struck a tree.
The wreck is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
