Excitement is building as the long-awaited new Scrubby’s Car Wash is tentatively scheduled to open in mid-July.
Chase Howard and Charles Howard, Jr., who own and operate Chase Oil in Florence and Scrubby’s Car Wash, have over 25 years in the car wash business, will be opening their seventh state of the art three-minute car wash in Dillon.
The brothers are the third generation of the family business, Chase Oil Company, that began in 1946 by their grandfather, Maitland S. Chase, Jr. of Darlington.
They have focused on smaller communities.
After 20 plus successful years of being a part of Dillon, they decided to locate this new high-quality car wash because of their commitment to Dillon after operating Laser Wash 4000 here for over 20 years. They have spared no expense to bring the latest car wash equipment and technology. The new car wash will utilize up to 70% recycled water.
They have trained the new employees for several months to ensure that everyone will receive a superior customer experience with quality, convenience, and unique offerings. “While training our employees, we emphasize the importance of the customers and that our customers are like family,” stated Charles Howard.
Everyone will be surprised what a great job of cleaning your vehicle that this new car wash will do! One will immediately notice the difference between this car wash and others.
“The Pee Dee is growing and expanding. The Pee Dee needs this technology,” remarked Charles Howard.
Chase and Charles are both excited to offer this product to the Dillon Community where they have been part of the community as “locals” and have given back to the community with fundraisers for the schools and other such opportunities to serve the community.
Scrubby’s Car Wash will offer a free car wash for the first few days. Additionally, Scrubby’s will offer an unlimited wash club with a flat rate per month with different price points. There will be free vacuums available on site, free chemicals, and an automated wet vac for carpets. A yearly rate will also be offered. Other packages will be offered that caters to customer needs and budgets. Once one is a member, one can wash one’s vehicle at Scrubby’s located at Socastee, Murrells Inlet, Georgetown, Hartsville, and Florence, in South Carolina plus Lumberton, N.C.
