City of Dillon Free Football Camp, ages 8-12, Saturday, May 4, 9:00 a.m., at the City of Dillon Soccer/Football Complex on South Longstreet Road, Dillon. No registration fee. No cost.

Community Clean-up Day, Saturday, May 4, 9:00 a.m., Locations: Academy Street, Latimer School, Henry Street Park, Neighborhood Clean-up from 9:00 a.m.-12 noon, Sponsored by the Latta Neighborhoods Improvement Alliance, the H2G Empire, and the Latta Town Council.

A Community Celebration will be held at Henry Street Park in Latta on Saturday, May 4, following the community cleanup, from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m..

The presentation of the Sheriff Douglas Pernell photo will be on May 4th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dillon County Museum in Latta. Mrs. Cynthia Pernell, widow of the late Sheriff Pernell, and the Dillon County Historical Society want to invite the public to join them on this occasion.
