Magnolia Garden Club|January 2025 Meeting

The January meeting of the Magnolia Garden Club was hosted by Sarah Pullie and Eleanor Powers at Latta Elementary School. Beth Williams created a stunning arrangement of nandenas and winter foliage. The ladies enjoyed cheese sticks, salted pecans, chicken salad sandwich, and a red velvet cupcake.
President Lori Ann Corbett welcomed everyone to this year’s first meeting for 2025. There was no new business.
Program Chairman Dollie Morrell introduced Edward Bethea. Edward took us step by step on how to grow an asparagus garden. He informed members on how to plant, fertilize, and when the asparagus will be ready to harvest. He also provided information on where to order the asparagus crowns.
The meeting was then adjourned.
