Dr. Trent McLaughlin was the guest speaker at the Unity In The Community held at Mount Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, August 17.
Prior to the start of the service, the Mount Calvary Baptist Church Praise Team blessed the congregation with the singing of hymns such as “When I Get Carried Away,” “Child of the King,” and “Redeemed By The Blood.” Afterwards the Mount Calvary Baptist Church Choir sang “I Know A Name.”
Mount Calvary Baptist Church Pastor Harold Cooke welcomed everyone to the service. Pastor Cook stated, “These services for Unity In The Community are to serve and magnify the Lord.”
Pastor Cooke informed everyone that there will be a fifth Sunday Special Gospel Singing to be held at East Dillon Baptist Church on Sunday, August 31. He also announced the upcoming Tent Revival in the last two weeks of October this year.
Rev. Richie Hicks, pastor of Second Baptist Church, offered a prayer.
The congregation sang “Jesus, What A Friend For Sinners.”
The Mount Calvary Baptist Church Praise Team sang “I Made It By Grace.”
Dr. Trent McLoughlin of the Antioch Baptist Church in Lancaster spoke from Matthew 16.
An invitation was given. Afterwards, the Benediction was given.

The Unity In The Community will be held Sunday, August 24, 6:00 p.m., at Second Baptist Church.
