Dr. Michael McRae Named District Four Coordinator Of Support Services

Dr. Michael McRae has been named Coordinator of Support Services for Dillon School District Four for the 2024 – 2025 school year.
Dr. McRae served as a teacher and coach at Dillon Middle School from 2014 through 2017 and assistant principal from 2017 through 2020. Most recently, he served as principal at Gordon Elementary School from 2020 – 2024.
In addition to his professional work experiences in South Carolina, he also served in various leadership and organizational management roles in North Carolina for eight years. Dr. McRae served as a classroom teacher, coach, coordinator, and athletic administrator for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Dr. McRae graduated from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. He continued his education at Wingate University and received a Master of Education degree and a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.
He attends Bibleway Tabernacle Church Ministries, and he serves as the leader of the men’s prayer call. Dr. McRae is married to Latoya McRae, who is an author, inspirational speaker, and business professional.
Dr. McRae and his wife currently reside in Dillon, and they have three beautiful children. He looks forward to a great year at the district office and supporting the students and staff in Dillon School District Four. Dr. McRae said his primary focus will remain the same, “Every Child, Every Day – Whatever it Takes.”
