Dillon Technology Center’s Cosmetology Boasts High State License Test Pass Rate

Everyone wants to look their best, and the students at the Dillon County Technology Center undergo training to help their future customers do just that. Students undergo a number of courses to prepare them for their future careers.
The Cosmetology group for first year students have finished the practical part of the course and now are preparing for the theory part. Presently these students are learning about disease and chemicals. These students are being taught by Ms. Alonda LeGrand who holds several degrees including a barbering degree she completed in order to teach the students the braiding part as the state changed the braiding licenses.
Ms. LeGrand also is pursuing her Master’s degree. There is also a second-year class of cosmetology. After the students complete the second year, the class boasts a high pass rate in the high 90s.
