On June 29th, over 30 people gathered for the 2nd annual Northeastern South Carolina Deaf Rally at Maple Baptist Church in Conway, SC. The event was at Camp Pinehill in Bennettsville last year. Guest speakers this year were Pastor Gary Reeves of Maple Baptist and Missionary Jim Walterhouse of International Christian Centers for the Deaf of Roanoke, Virginia. Pastor Raymond Davis, Tonie and Leslie Holman, all of Great Expectations Church, Dillon provided the worship music and Callie Knight, First Baptist Dillon, served as sign interpreter. A box lunch from Chik-fil-a was served to all in attendance.
