Dillon Middle School Holds First Lunch Bunch Book Club Meeting Of The School Year

Dillon Middle School recently held its first Lunch Bunch Book Club meeting of the 2024-2025 school year. The featured book, which won the 2024 South Carolina Junior Book Award, was What Lives in the Woods by Lindsay Currie. Participants had signed up, read the book, and passed a test on the book by the announced deadline. Those students were invited to have lunch in the media center, where a pizza lunch was provided by one of the school’s business partners. After lunch, the students and several teachers discussed the book. Most students gave the book a thumbs up.
