The Dillon Middle School Chorus participated in the State Choral Performance Assessment and received a rating of Superior. This is the equivalent to a A on the school report card. This evaluation tests the quality of vocal music education at Dillon Middle School and serves as a standardized testing of sorts for choir programs around the state. As this is a statewide musical assessment this tends to be the toughest festival as three judges rate the choir on intonation, rhythmic accuracy , diction and other things. The students were given sheet music and had to perform it within 5 minutes. They did well in all categories Thanks to the staff of Dillon Middle School for all the encouragement and support. Also a very special thanks to our administrators Dr Felicia Mccollum, Ms. Chelsea Holcombe and Mr James Mcmillan who have been nothing but supportive towards us:
