On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, the students at Dillon Middle School 8th Grade Beginner Band had to perform before four judges at Loris High School in Loris, SC. We had to prepare three pieces to perform and one sight reading piece the band had never played. Congratulation to the Dillon Middle School 8th Grade Band for receiving an EXCELLENT rating, the second highest you can get, at the South Carolina Band Director Association (SCBDA) State Festival.
