The Dillon Lady Wildcats defeated the Georgetown Lady Bulldogs 62-14 in varsity basketball action played on Saturday, February 1.
The Lady Wildcats never trailed in the game.
In the first quarter of play, Dillon scored 13 points while holding Georgetown to 7 points. Each team committed 5 fouls in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, the Lady Wildcats placed 24 points onto the scoreboard while the Lady Bulldogs were held to 3 points. Each team committed 3 fouls in the quarter.

Dillon’s Khwnylahi McKinnon led all scorers with 15 points. She had six 2-point baskets and three 3-point baskets. Treasure Davis added six 2-point baskets and 2 free throws for 14 points. Ayonna Lester had three 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and 3 free throws to place 12 points onto the scoreboard. Mariah Campbell added 12 points with two 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and 5 free throws. Jiana McGill had a 2-point basket and 2 free throws to account for 4 points. Zadaiya Moody had two 2-point baskets for 4 points. Jaleah Bethea and Zynijah Pernell each sank a free throw.
Georgetown’s Neveah G. had a 3-point basket and 2 free throws for 5 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs in scoring. Noa Kate M. had a 2-point basket and 2 free throws for points. Emily Payton added two 2-point baskets for 4 points. Tacama D. sank a free throw.
Dillon will host Marlboro County on Tuesday, February 4, at 6:00 p.m.
Georgetown will travel to Loris on Tuesday, February 4, for a 6:00 p.m. game.
