The Dillon Wildcats won 21-14 in the night cap of the Dillon Jamboree of Champions played at Dillon Memorial Stadium on Friday, August 15.
The Wildcats got off to a sluggish start with costly mistakes before the Falcons capitalized on an interception and scored a long td with 1:27 remaining in the first quarter. The PAT was good, and the Falcons led 7-0 over the Wildcats.
With 9:22 remaining in the second quarter, Dillon’s Z. Robertson scored a touchdown after a pass reception. The Wildcats’ #84’s PAT was good to knot the score at 7-7.
Darlington’s #10 fumbled, and Dillon recovered.
Dillon’s #0, Z. Robertson scored after the reception with 7:00 minutes remaining in the second quarter. The PAT was good by #84 to give Dillon a 14-7 lead.
Darlington was forced to punt. With 4:13 remaining in the second quarter, Dillon’s #5 scored after the reception. The PAT was good by #84 to give Dillon a 21-7 lead.
With 1:07 remaining in the second quarter, Darlington scored. The PAT by #80 was good to cut the lead to 7 points for Dillon, 21-14.
