Dillon High School Holds Ring Ceremony For The Class Of 2027

Dillon High School held the Ring Ceremony for the Class of 2027 on Thursday, September 25, at 6:00 p.m. at the Auditorium.
Mr. Timothy Gibbs, Dillon High School principal, welcomed everyone to the event.
After the Pledge of Allegiance, Dillon High School assistant principal presented the History of the Ring. Robinson also presented the Meaning of the Ring, the Turning of the Ring, and the Wearing of the Ring. Robinson remarked that the ring was used for eternity and celebration. The ring has changed over the years to reflect one’s school. Wear your ring with Dillon High School pride. It stands for achievement, “A Milestone in your like”.
Mrs. Sandy H. Cook, Mrs. Wendy McDaniel, and the Jostens’ representative presented the rings. Those receiving rings were Katlyn Allen, Nicholas Berry, John Bohachic, Keira Brigman, Zoee Chavis, Braxton Cook, Nicholas Coward, Tristin Dove, Antywan Dunson, Haiden Eller, Za’Kiyah Evans, Ronald Gibbs, Sierra McDaniel, Matthew McKenzie, Madison McPherson, Rut Paramo, and Nicholas Wiggins (was not present due to an emergency).
Mr. Timothy Gibbs had the concluding remarks and also invited everyone to light refreshments at the Dillon High School Media Center.
