Students were nominated to receive the Governor’s Citizenship Award and meet requirements that can be applied at school, home or in the community. They must demonstrate outstanding: (1) Character – consistently demonstrate respect for people and property; (2) Service – provide assistance within their community, either in the classroom or through outside activities; (3) Leadership – serve as a positive role model for their peers; (4) Responsibility – complete assignments on time and be prepared for class; and (5) Discipline – follow directions and obey rules.
