The Dillon Wildcats defeated the Silver Bluff Bulldogs of Aiken 42-7 in a SCHSL varsity football game playoff in Dillon on Friday, November 14.
The Wildcats Zamaurious Robertson was on the receiving end of a 25-yard pass from Khayel Sam Fong-Talia for the first score of the game. Khayel Sam Fong-Talia’s PAT was good. Daniel Capehart rushed for a 28-yard TD for the second score of the first quarter. The PAT was good by Khayel Sam Fong-Talia. Dillon led 14-0.
In the second quarter of play, Daniel Capehart scored a touchdown on a 3-yard run. Khayel Sam Fong-Talia added the PAT to give the Wildcats a 21-0 lead. Daniel Capehart closed out the next Dillon drive with a 1-yard run for the score followed by the PAT by Khayel Sam Fong-Talia. Dillon led 28-0. D’rontae McClam added a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown. The PAT was good by Khayel Sam Fong-Talia. At halftime, Dillon was up 35-0.
In the third quarter, Zamaurious Robertson caught a pass from Khayel Sam Fong-Talia good for a 31-yard touchdown. The PAT was good by Khayel Sam Fong-Talia. Dillon led 41-7 after 3 quarters of play.
In the fourth quarter, the Silver Bluff Bulldogs scored a touchdown and a PAT. Dillon led 42-7
Dillon had 51 plays in the game for 283 total yards of which 145 were passing yards and 138 were rushing yards. Silver Bluff had 44 plays with a total of 184 yards with117 yards of passing and 67 yards rushing.
Dillon managed 15 first downs, and Silver Bluff had 10 first downs.
Dillon converted 4 of 9 third down plays for first downs while Aiken managed 1 of 7.

Dominick Felton rushed 7 times for 25 yards with a long run of 9 yards. Zamaurious Robertson rushed for a 12-yard gain. Noah Singletary rushed 5 times for 6 yards. Jucson Ndayisaba rushed 2 times for 6 yards with a long run of 4 yards. JJ Campbell rushed 2 times. Nibras Harrison carried the football 1 time.
Silver Bluff’s team rushed 21 times for 67 yards, a long run of 18 yards, and fumbled 2 times.
