On August 22nd, 2024, at around 1:21 a.m., Dillon County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Sunoco Gas station at South of the Border, in reference to an Armed Robbery. Three suspects, armed with guns, came into the store and held the clerk at gunpoint, taking an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

The suspects were driving a white vehicle, believed to be Kia Optima with a Sunoco sticker on the rear bumper, on the driver’s side.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the Armed Robbery. $5000 will be paid at the time of an arrest and the other $5000 upon the conviction of those responsible.
