On October 2nd, 2024, at approximately 4:01 am, Dillon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Windmill Avenue, in the Little Rock community. Upon arrival, a male victim was found in the yard of the residence with a gunshot wound, deceased. The victim was identified as Daiquan Laron Blakely, 23, of Little Rock, SC.
Jhimir L. Wright, 20, from Little Rock, SC, was detained at the scene. Wright is charged with Murder and is being held in the Dillon County Detention Center.
