On Wednesday, January 7th, 2026 around 2 p.m., Deputies responded to Highway 301 South, near Bass Mill Road in reference to a deceased male in a vehicle. Upon arrival the victim was located in the vehicle which was parked near an embankment on the side of Highway 301 South deceased.
The victim has been identified as 52 year old Michael Moore of Latta.
