Dillon County Councilwoman Detrice Dawkins and Sterling Lee, the first African-American Mayor of Lake View, visited the classes at Gordon Elementary School for Black History Month. The Logistics of Hustling is partnering with the ISS classes to send 50 kids, who pull up their grades from D’s and F’s and improve their behavior from now until the end of the year, to Carowinds this summer.
