Dillon County Community Day was held on Friday, August 30th, at Gordon Park in Newtown. All sorts of fresh fruits and vegetables were available free of charge. Health information and screenings, voter registration, and other services were available. The event was held by the Pick 42 Foundation, Dillon County Councilman Jamal Campbell, Man2Man, and CareSouth Carolina. It was a wonderful event that blessed many people.
