The Dillon Christian School Warriors faced the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles in seven-on-seven football at the varsity level on Tuesday, July 15, in Dillon.
Seven-on-seven football is a fast-paced, passing-focused version of American football played with seven players per team. Emphasis is placed on passing and route running, with no blocking or tackling allowed. There are no linemen in this style of play. The quarterback has a set time to release the pass. If not, the play is dead. There is no tackling allowed.
