The Dillon Christian School Warriors returned home on Friday, January 17, with a 59-54 win over the Florence Christian Eagles in Florence.
The Dillon Christian School Warriors found themselves trailing 19-9 after the first quarter of play. At halftime, the Eagles led by 10 points, 32-22. After 3 quarters of play, Dillon Christian School was up 39-30.
Each team committed 5 fouls in each quarter.
The Warriors’ Jackson Outlar led all scorers with 24 points. He had six 2-point baskets, two 3-point baskets, and 6 free throws. Braxton Cummings had five 2-point baskets and 2 free throws for 12 points. Gray Easterling had three 3-point baskets and a 2-point basket for 11 points. Jordan Blackmon had a 2-point basket and 2 free throws for 4 points. Reese Bracey had a 2-point basket and a free throw for 3 points. McKinnon Sampson had a 3-point basket. Jasper McIntyre had a 2-point basket.
Taylor Greene led the Eagles with 23 points. He had six 2-point baskets, two 2-point baskets, and 5 free throws. Riley Minton had three 3-point baskets and three 2-point baskets. Sullivan Hardy added 10 points with three 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and a free throw. Brayden Berry connected for two 2-point baskets for 4 points. Kayden Parker added a 2-point basket.

Dillon Christian School will participate in the MLK Tournament in Marion from Saturday, January 18, through Tuesday, January 21. On Thursday, January 23, Dillon Christian School will host Lee Academy beginning with JV at 4:00 p.m.
Florence Christian will host Williamsburg Academy on Tuesday, January 21.
