The date of completion for the new elementary school in Dillon District Four has changed from June 27th to July 10th.
Currently, the groundwork is being done, hauling in top soil, and planning to asphalt the needed areas on the school property.
Most of the work on the grounds in terms of landscaping will be done in October.
Everything is on target to open the school for the 2024-2025 school year.
Teachers will report to the new school on July 29th. School starts on August 5th.
The board was informed that everything is well within the budget.
