Daniel Capehart signed with Lenoir-Rhyne of North Carolina, on Thursday, February 5, at Dillon High School, to continue his pursuit of an college education and to continue to play football at the next level.
Dillon High School Wildcats Varsity Football Coach Kelvin Roller welcomed and thanked everyone for being there.
Daniel Capehart was accompanied by family and friends.

Roller offered his congratulations to Daniel Capehart and his family. Roller praised Capehart for his academics. “We’re proud of Daniel. We’re happy that he was a 4-year varsity player. Lenoir-Rhyne does not realize what a great player and student Capehart is. Lenoir-Rhyne is getting a steal.”

Daniel Capehart was a linebacker and a running back for the Dillon Wildcats for the 2025 season. In 12 games for the Dillon Wildcats varsity football team in 2025, Daniel Capehart carried 42 times for 251 yards with a 5.98 yards per carry. He had 107 tackles of which 29 were solo tackles and 78 were assisted tackles. He had 4 sacks, 12 tackles for a loss, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries. Capehart also had a kickoff return for 7 yards and a punt return for 13 yards.
