An extraordinary group of people are “Cycle To The Sea,” and came through Oak Grove today, stopping at the picnic shelter at the fire department for a break. They started in Monroe, NC, and are headed to North Myrtle Beach. Riders use hand cycles, tandem bikes, and road bikes to complete the 180-mile journey. Participants get individual pledges which helps fund athletic programs that are life-changing for people with physical disabilities. This “journey of strength, spirit, and possibility” Funds programs at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation.
