LATTA-Coy Legrande Turner, 81, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Marlboro Church Cemetery.
Born in Dillon, SC, February 1, 1943, he was the son of the late Coy & Maggie Blackmon Turner; sister Leila Mae Fowler. He attended East Marlboro Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Debbie T. & Charles Snyder; son, Timothy Turner & Kimberly; step-son, Alan Crowley & Cindy, all of Latta; grandchildren, Daniela, Joshua Forbes, Blake & Katie Marsh, Kayla T. & Marshall Seals, Kyle & Haylee Turner, Katelyn & Reid, Cheyene Turner; great-grandchildren, Nathianiel, Maddie Booth, Brody, Steven and Blaine, Tate Marsh, Bryson Turner, Carmen Stevens, and Cary Stevens.
Coy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Turner; son, Coy Fredrick Turner; daughter, Beverly Forbes; granddaughters, Amelia Dale, Samantha Alice Marsh; brother, Roland “RC” Turner, Forrest Turner; sisters, Margaret Stone, Julia Turner and Judy Turner Jacobs.
