Coroner Donnie Grimsley has provided the names of the deceased in two recent, unrelated wrecks.
Coroner Grimsley reports that the person killed in the motor vehicle crash on Highway 57 was Tyrone Nelson Godfrey, a 58 year old black male, of Mullins, S.C. His body was sent for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
Coroner Grimsley also reported that the two victims in the vehicle v. train wreck that occurred Wednesday was Allen Raeford Smith, a 53-year-old whilte male of Dillon County, and his wife, Sarah Jane Smith, a 51-year-old white female from Dillon County. They died as a result of a motor vehicle crash.
