The Conway Tigers won 51-41 over Dillon on Friday, December 13, in Conway.
The Tigers took a 9 to 5 lead after the first quarter and never trailed in the game. Dillon committed 5 fouls in the first quarter while Conway committed 3 fouls.
By halftime, Conway was up 21-15. Dillon committed 3 fouls in the second quarter, and Conway committed 2 fouls.
In the third quarter of play, Conway connected for 14 points while holding Dillon to 9 points. Each team committed 4 fouls.
In the final quarter, Dillon outscored Conway 17 to 16. Each team committed 5 fouls.
Ten Dillon players scored in the game with Jazier Walker leading the Wildcats with 11 points. He connected for three 2-point baskets and 5 free throws. Michael Williams sank two 3-point baskets for 6 points. Zephaniah Campbell had a 3-point basket and 2 free throws. Jamarion Fling had a 2-point basket and 2 free throws for 4 points. Rahmond Hamilton had two 2-point baskets for 4 points. Ejan Green and Jacob Hunt each had a free throw and a 2-point basket. Zamaurious Robertson and Jafari Jones each sank a 2-point basket. Kyheim Lester added a free throw.
Conway’s Avery Brantley led all scorers with 15 points. He had three 2-point baskets, two 3-point baskets and 3 free throws. Trevon Johnson added thirteen points with five 2-point baskets and 3 free throws. Jordan Jenkins had five 2-point baskets and 2 free throws for 12 points. Javion Crawford added 5 points with two 2-point baskets and a free throw. Tramaine Hunter, Kayleb McKinnon, and Brewer Cannon each sank a 2-point basket.
Dillon will participate in the Roberson County Shootout from December 18 through 21.
