Congressman Russell Fry Announces U.S. Service Academy Nominations

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Russell Fry announced U.S. Service Academy nominations for seven high school students who have been chosen to be considered for appointment to one of the following U.S. Service Academies — the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Through a rigorous application and interview process, Congressman Fry has nominated the following students:
-Shane Berquist of Lexington — U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
-Ryan Carter of Hamer — U.S. Military Academy (West Point)
-Charles Chapman of Florence — U.S. Air Force Academy
-Ryan Corcoran of Pawleys Island — U.S. Military Academy (West Point)
-Sophia Tilley of Myrtle Beach — U.S. Naval Academy
-Chase Ulisano of Myrtle Beach — U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Naval Academy
-Tyler Workman of Myrtle Beach — U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
