The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has received several complaints about the sale of illegal narcotics taking place at a residence located at 642 Freddie Loop, Dillon. These complaints led to an investigation at this location.
Through this investigation, agents were able to establish the probable cause needed to get a search warrant for this residence.
On the morning of May 1st, 2024, deputies executed the search warrant which led to the seizure of illegal narcotics, as well as ammunition that the suspect, Danny Ray Elliott, is unable to lawfully possess.
Elliott was placed under arrest and charged with:
-2 Counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine, 2nd offense
-Possession of a firearm or ammunition by person convicted of P.W.I.D or distribution.
