Clear book bags are coming in Dillon District Four. At the board’s June meeting, Jackie Hayes said that clear book bags are going to be highly recommended for grades 6-12 in 2024-2025 and required/mandated in the 2025-2026 school year.
Football and basketball games already require clear bags, and this policy would make it consistent. The board decided to do this now to give ample time to parents to get the bags.
The motion was made by Board member Famon Whitfield and seconded by Board member Mandy Faircloth. The board approved.
